Yoga, which is a Sanskrit word which means “unity” or “unification” refers to the strange subject that has been practiced by people, especially in India, which have a very specific goal in mind. Why would yogis, as they are called, to go through the difficult discipline to practice the most bizarre and unnatural positions for hours on end?

On the surface of it, Yoga is a science occult and former protocol dictates that it should be initiated by a recognized master. One of the great masters past, Paramahansa Yogananda, wrote in his autobiography about Kriya Yoga: “Due to some former Yogic orders, I can not give a full explanation of Kriya Yoga in a book for the general public.” Slightly further, he suggested that we should see a captain or a kriyaban kriya yoga if you want to learn this type of yoga.

One could say that the yogi in a state of samahdi is “connected”, or direct contact with the force, which is called “life”. Just as with a PC that is connected to a Web site with complete immunity, meaning the user can open a page available, the yogi can execute a search query or in his mind, and while samahdi the answer came to him, Whatever the cause, or on it.

The best comparison is that the yogi in samahdi connects to and creates a direct relationship with God. Does this make the yogi omniscient and omnipotent? I will speculate that if, in samahdi, yes, the yogi is exactly that. Considering that the yogi is conscious of God, and that God is aware of Yogi, both in unison and both are, at this point, just one.

So, in conclusion, the yogis were rooting of the unit or a direct link to the conscious creation, or God, in the absence of a better description of the creation, yoga, but not a religion. Yoga does prepares and trains the individual to create the link so that it can connect to the creation and know for himself what is the truth, what reality actually is, without restrictions which were constructed by the mind or emotions.

Once that is understood, it is easy to see why so much of the practice of yoga. Our teachers and philosophy do not provide us with answers, they only provide assumptions. Some of these are sometimes really stimulate the logic and imagination, but no offer of proof. The Yogi wants proof of creation, which is why he accepted the extreme discipline that is needed to prepare to create the conditions that will enable it to get it.
